Early in 2017 after six years of managing the water sport’s operation’s at Tattershall lakes country park, Richard decided to set up his own company and originate Lincolnshire Aquapark (Mablethorpe)! From here the business has gone from strength to strength, picking up various awards and accolades along the way. 

Upon the formation of the facility which has provided a much needed Water sports facility to this area of the Lincolnshire coast. Richard quoted “The decision to proceed with this project was based on local knowledge after establishing a niche in the market existed. I had noted that the area was in desperate need of such a facility, it’s within my area of expertise, I possess the skills and ability to operate it successfully and as such had a, don’t think about it, just do it type moment”. Lincolnshire Aquapark was born…  

Since it’s formation Lincolnshire Aquapark has periodically added new activities to the offering in addition to the 55 metre Aquapark! Pedaloes, Paddle boarding and open water swimming are now all available making the facility a fully functional Water sports lake. 

Richard is a fully qualified Royal life saving society, swimming pool and open water lifeguard trainer assessor. As such provides ongoing lifeguard training to the qualified lifeguard team to ensure a friendly, professional service is delivered of all of our guests in a safe and secure environment.
